Sharing

Mom 1: Would never use it. Technology phobia, friends must have device so probably not going to happen.

Mom 2: Share recipes sometimes, but probably would use it much.

Mom 3: sharing notes: good idea to me, I can share recipes with my daughter, can modify and share with daughter.  Not just recipes, could be like an email, share photos, events 
 


Writing on the book

Mom 1: Sometimes she doesn’t know somethings, doesn’t understand, so highlights and looks over later.

Mom 2: Pretty much only used for cooking related things.  When she was a student she would write in the margin a lot

Mom 3: Could use it for taking notes when you go to places, like at meetings or class.  Likes much better than keyboard.  Can you update the notes and print? That would be good 



Suction Cups

Mom 1: Yay, it’s really cool.  Would be useful esp for recipes.  If she could scroll through the new really fast…

Mom 2: Liked it  a lot

Mom 3: Yeah… that would be great.  That’s something that works with batteries, that would be neat.  Book stand would also be nice.  Has to be portable and fit in your purse, possibly a little bigger than a palm pilot, not too heavy. Can use a memory stick for data?



Tracking progress:

Mom 1: thought was cool but thinks she wouldn’t be able to use it.  Not as obsessed about numbers and data as others

Mom 2: Might be useful, but doesn’t read a lot.  Might be nice to have a deadline

Mom 3: Would like nice organization feature, what books I have, not just what I’m reading.  Likes to collect books. 



Voice

Mom 3: Oh, yeah.  I guess so, while you’re cooking you can say turn the page (excited)! That would exciting.  Handicap people could use it, muscular dystrophy, a lot of people getting older.   Figures to touch screen that would be a great help.   



Reading out to you: Likes the idea of the text reading to you, when you’re driving its hands free.   



Projection

Mom 1: “Would be cool” but concerned with technology and design. 

Mom 2: “Good Idea” useful when reading to kid. 

Mom 3:  Would be nice to see the book large, sleeping in bed and  



Water Proof:

Mom 1: Clunky buttons, difficult to press.  Likes idea

Mom 2:

Mom 3: Sure! Likes idea.
